M.Theel wrote on 7/12/2018 My deepest sympathy to everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Scott. Scott had a LOVE for life and he lived his life with faith, courage, compassion, hard work, and forgiveness. I may be older than older than Scott, lived longer... but I never lived a day that I have "outlived" him. He lived a life through faith and he was always optimistic, always happy, always smiling, always generous and helping, and never sad! I learned a lot from Scott and strive to be more like him. We all were blessed to have had him in our lives. He is deeply missed. Enjoy Heaven my friend. ~ Theel

Colette wrote on 7/10/2018 I have had the pleasure of knowing Scott for over 15 years. Several years back when I was boot-strapping my start-up business Scott would come and work on projects for me. We always had a great time when Scott would show up .... he always made us laugh and he always offered his assistance to help me get the biz moving. He was ALWAYS very kind, considerate and polite every time I had the pleasure to be around him. Through Mike, I always thought of you as my half brother, and like Mike you never let me down. My heart breaks for your family's loss - your smile that could light up a room will be missed by those you have left behind. Your presence will be felt during future happy occasions with the Mike & Hana Petri crew.
Lauryn Coules wrote on 7/10/2018 I was blessed this past year to work with Scott in the middle school youth ministry program at our Parish. Scott was one of the most giving and selfless men I have had the honor to work with in my many years of ministry. He was the guy who always showed up ready to help! His love for the youth of our Parish was evident by the many hours he and his wife so lovingly gave us. Scott was always joyful, ready to jump into whatever I had worked up for ministry that night, always with a smile, a pat on the back and a "you got it". Hearing of his passing breaks my heart, but knowing the impact his life has left on hundreds of youth brings comfort. In his short time on earth Scott brought the light of Christ into the lives of so many youth who needed it. I am so very happy to have known Scott. His life has left a mark on mine, I am a better person for knowing him and will be forever grateful for the life lessons I have learned from him. The last conversation I had with Scott was truly a gift, one I will always treasure. Neither of us knew it would be the last one, Scott was telling me about my gifts and talents, he was doing what he did best, encouraging another person. Scott was an incredible person and he will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
